"Figures dance a choreography of disaster, a convulsive ballet of which a predominant delight seems to vouch: the splendour of their impetuous collisions and turbulent transfigurations, unpredictible effects of aleatory causes."

What a magnificent allegory of chaos. Despite the chaotic nature of this piece, it still has an underlying sense of order to it. There is a very strong focal point; the light that all of the chaos appears to be coming out of, heading towards, or both, which provides some interesting metaphysical/spiritual implications. This almost has a bit of a Renaissance religious allegorical feel to it, with a modern twist of course. Michelangelo in particular comes to mind when I see this, and in particular the mural depicting the End (can't think of the exact name of it), where people are either being carried up to heaven or dragged down to hell. This obviously has a different subject matter, but still reminds me of it in it's appearance. This is an amazing piece of art. Excellent work.
